Most doctors will tell you to wait until 6-8 weeks after your C-section before beginning an exercise routine. It is important to abide by the 6-8 week rule, in order to allow your body time to recover. Talk with your doctor about an appropriate start for exercising. He or she can suggest a routine that you can gently ease into.
